★About the Doggy Hotel service |
|
 |
 |
Q. How will my dog pass the day when staying at the hotel? |
A.This is a brief guideline of how a day is passed:
- Morning: Wake up → Outside walk → Breakfast → After-meal rest
- Forenoon: Play in the spacious play court with other dogs and staff members
- Noon: Rest time (Napping in the crate or relaxing booth for those who’ve
tired themselves from playing) *Lunch (Upon owner request)
- Afternoon: Play in the play court again with other dogs and staff members
- Evening: Outside walk → Supper
- Night: Bedtime (In the crate)
*We do not keep the dogs locked up in a crate -in all day but have them play freely
most of the time during the day.
*For those strictly potty-trained outdoors, we take them outside for each necessity.
*For those not accustomed to crates and would hurt themselves, please consult the
staff. There are overnight-stay special rooms available instead of crates, such as the
deluxe or suite rooms.
*The outside walk service twice a day (in the morning and evening) is included in the
hotel fees. |

Q. I'm worried about my dog feeling lonely staying away from home. |
A.The DOG INC. Doggy Hotel is just the place for the easily homesick. As
they spend the day having fun playing in the dog run with other dogs and
staff members, by bedtime, many of them are all tired out and fall asleep in
peace, forgetting the loneliness of being away from home. Also, if the stay is
a long one, many times they become quite friendly with the dogs they play
with. As we offer counseling (interviews) to the owner and the dog(s) before
the stay, we provide the right care for each dog, be it a scaredy-cat,
mischievous kind, or a shy one. If there is anything that may worry you,
please feel free to call us even whilst your dog’s stay. |

Q. Is there anything that should be brought in? |
A.Please feel free to bring in things that may help to keep your dog feeling
comfortable during the stay, like a favorite cushion or blanket, toys, snacks,
clothes, and so on. As for meals, if you bring in the regularly fed food, we
will feed it according to the instructions given. The same will be done with
any necessary medication. If no particular food is brought in, we will be
serving what is prepared at the shop; Eukanuba Lamb and Rice.(This meal is
included in the service and will not be charged extra.) |

Q. Will there be a pick up service to (and/or from) home? |
A.We offer the service if it is within our pick-up area (and business hours).
For details on possible pick-up areas and prices, please ask us. This service
is available also for just a one-way trip as well. We recommend this service
for when you are leaving for a trip, or when you are busy due to work or do
not have time to drive your dog on your own. |

Q. My dog is very shy and not used to dogs. Will it be a problem? |
A.Our dog run space can be divided into a maximum four sections by a
moveable fence. It is possible for shy ones unaccustomed to other dogs to
be separated in their own private space and spend the time playing with
staff members. For owners who wish to have their shy ones become friendly
with others, we can help out by gradually letting them together with those
that seem to get along and become used to being with a group of others. |

Q. I'd like to give my dog a bath and a haircut during the stay.
Q. Do you offer such services? |
A.Yes, we do! It does depend on the bath or bath and haircut reservation
conditions of that day, though. Many of our day care customers request to
have their dogs bathed or their furs cut during the stay. |

★About the Play Court service |
|
 |
 |
Q. I'd like to try the Play Court. What procedures do I need to take? |
A.Our indoor Play Court may be reserved for events like training classes or
personal parties. In such cases, even if a customer comes to the shop hoping
to use the dog run, s/he cannot enter the floor. In order to avoid bad feelings
- "We've come all this way and You're not letting us in?!" - we urge you to
make reservations in advance. No cancellation fee will be charged if you
make a reservation but do not show up for a sudden change of plan. Late
arrivals due to traffic and time changes on your reservation day are possible.
(We will be grateful if you can give us a call in such situations.) |

Q.Ours is a super large-sized dog. Will he be able to take bath services
and stay over at the hotel? |
A.Regarding bathing, we may have to refuse the service if the dog is
oversized and does not fit in our dog bath. For hotel stays, we suggest
staying at our deluxe or suite rooms. Facilities and photos of these rooms
can be checked in the “Doggy Hotel” page. As for the fees, please refer to
the “Price” page. For more information, please consult the staff by phone. |

Q.Our dog is just a little puppy. Will s/he be acceptable for a stay? |
A.The age of the puppy will not be a problem as long as s/he has been
properly vaccinated. Nevertheless, we assume there would be many delicate
issues and thus suggest that you consult your family vet and get permission
to let your puppy stay at the facility.

Q. My dog is an old dog, but normally in good shape. Will s/he be
acceptable for a stay? |
A.To be away from home, sometimes it effects to their health condition. Even
though they are in good shape at home, it doesn't mean that they will be
surely okay for the stay. Especially if it's going to be a long stay. Please
contact us and ask about his/her stay. Also, we recommend you to ask your
vet whether it's alright for him/her to stay in a facility like ours in your
desired schedule. Getting health exams at the vet will be a valid factor too. |

Q.My dog needs to take a medicine every day. Can you do such things? |
A.Sure, with your instructions. we can give him/her medicines or other
medications like eye-drops, ear-drops, or kinds of ointments, etc. Actually,
there are many requests from the owners giving their dog a simple
medication during the stay, and so we are used to do such things. |

|
Q.My dog is strongly aggressive towards people. Will this be a
problem? |
A.We basically do not accept dogs to stay or even allow them in the shop if
they
have a strong tendency to bite and won’t allow other humans to touch
them. (We
don’t accept certain breeds, such as Pit Bulls, Tosa-dogs, etc.) |
